He's back! After previous editions that delighted young and old gourmets alike, our saucisson Advent calendar returns in 2026 with a new composition designed to make the aperitif last until Christmas. This year, 24 boxes contain 87 pieces, 818 g of artisanal charcuterie and 7 flavors made in our workshops in Ardèche. Discover what's new and what we have prepared for this new edition.
The 2026 edition at a glance
- 24 boxes: 21 containing 4 "grignottes" each, and 3 containing a whole dry sausage
- 87 pieces in total, i.e. 818 g of charcuterie
- 7 different flavors to discover
- €49, free delivery
- Meat 100% French origin, no coloring
- Artisanal production in Ardèche, natural air drying
The point we care about: four "grignottes" a day, not one. Most saucisson Advent calendars give you one piece daily and weigh between 180 and 400 g in total. Ours weighs 818 g. And we are the first to have slipped whole saucissons into the boxes — enough to slice for the whole table, not just for yourself.
Why did we evolve our calendar in 2026?
Advent calendars are now available for just about everything: beauty, tea, games, beer. Saucisson, however, took a long time to join in — even though it ticks all the boxes. It's a product for sharing, it comes in dozens of varieties, and it requires no preparation or cutlery. You open the box, you slice, it's ready.
There's also a simpler reason: not everyone likes sweets. After three weeks of chocolate, the idea of a daily aperitif is quite appealing. And a savory calendar is easier to share — a saucisson is cut into slices, a chocolate is not.
If you're interested in the history of this tradition, we've dedicated an article to it: the origins of the Advent calendar.

Twenty-four boxes, and behind each one a surprise. Twenty-one of them contain four "grignottes", the last three a whole dry sausage. Here are the details.
3 whole dry sausages — a first
No one had put whole saucissons in an Advent calendar before us. Yet that's what changes everything: the day you open one of these three boxes, you don't get a bite, you get enough for an aperitif.
- Pure pork — the basic recipe, the one that doesn't cheat: pork, salt, pepper and time.
- With Cantal — the cheese melts into the meat during drying and gives it a particular roundness.
- With walnuts — the crunch of the dried fruit against the melting fat, a classic of our mountains.
84 "grignottes", 4 per box, 12 of each flavor
- Pure pork
- Cantal
- Hazelnuts
- Black olives
- Tomato
- Parmesan
- Truffle
Twelve of each flavor means you never get the same thing two days in a row if you don't want to — and you can save some for New Year's Eve.
How our saucissons are made
All our saucissons come from our workshops in southern Ardèche, where they are made by the artisans of Charcuteries Debroas. The process has not changed.
The meat, exclusively of French origin, is minced and then seasoned. Each whole saucisson is stuffed into a natural pork casing, then hand-tied. Then comes the steaming, which starts the fermentation, followed by drying in a drying room, where the dry air of the Cévennes does the rest of the work. Allow about three weeks. No accelerators, no coloring.
This explains the natural gray bloom on the surface: it is a sign of slow and controlled drying, and it is perfectly edible.
How to enjoy it day after day
Three tips, based on feedback from our customers over the editions.
- Eat the "grignottes" quickly after opening. Given their size, they dry out quickly once out of their box and harden in a few days.
- Store whole saucissons in a cool, dry place, below 18 °C. They will keep for several weeks. If one of them hardens despite everything, we have an article for that: how to soften a too-dry saucisson.
- Take it out twenty minutes before. A saucisson served at room temperature releases many more aromas than one straight from the fridge.
For accompaniment, an artisanal beer from the region works particularly well with strong flavors like truffle or black olives. If you want to go further, see our beer and saucisson pairing guide. And when December 24th comes, the three whole saucissons will naturally find their place on a beautiful charcuterie board.
Offering it: to a loved one, to employees, to clients
It's probably the easiest gift to get right throughout the holiday season. It requires no particular knowledge of the recipient — they just need to like saucisson — and it's unlike anything else they'll receive.
On the professional side, the Advent calendar has become one of our most requested formats for corporate gifts and CSE packages. We ship professional orders as a priority, starting in early November, which allows time to distribute them before the holidays. Conditions and volume prices are detailed on our professional space, and we have a page dedicated to associations, CE and schools.

Questions we are asked
Does the calendar have 24 boxes?
Yes, 24 boxes, one per day until Christmas. The difference is in what they contain: 21 boxes contain 4 "grignottes" each, and 3 boxes contain a whole dry sausage. That's 87 pieces and 818 g in total, whereas most saucisson calendars offer only one piece per day.
Why whole saucissons in a calendar?
Because that's what we felt was missing. We were the first to slip them into the boxes: three days of the month, you don't taste a bite, you open a real saucisson to share.
Can it be stored in the refrigerator?
It's not necessary, and it's not ideal: the cold humidity softens the casing. A cool, dry cupboard, below 18 °C, is better.
Is there pork in all the pieces?
Yes. The entire box is made with pork of French origin.
How long does it keep?
Whole saucissons keep for several weeks under good conditions. The "grignottes", once their box is opened, should be consumed within a few days.
How to pre-order the 2026 edition?
