Sour and Fruity Gratte-Cul Beer:

Looking for a quality beer to accompany delicate dishes? Choose the Tangy and Fruity Butt Scratcher . This white beer enhanced with rose hips is the perfect drink to satisfy your guests who love craft beer.

A white beer with local ingredients:

More tangy than a blonde, white beer is distinguished by its slightly milky appearance and its mellow taste . The Gratte-Cul Acidulated and Fruity Beer perfectly meets these criteria, while guaranteeing quality thanks to the use of ingredients mainly from Ardèche:
- Barley malt, coming from regional cereals;
- Wheat malt, which constitutes at least 30% of the malt used, to make real white beer;
- Yeast whose aroma is particularly marked with that of cereals;
- Hops, essential to all beer, contributing to its conservation;
- Rosehip or rosehip, fruit of the rosehip (Rosa canina), whose heart contains stinging hairs.

Despite its unappetizing name, the ass-scratcher has many virtues. In herbal medicine, it is recognized as an excellent source of vitamin C and gives this beer its deliciously tangy and refreshing taste. Of course, these fruits are grown in Ardèche, without any addition of chemical adjuvants.

A recipe faithful to tradition:

Everyone knows: craft beer always tastes better . This is due to the quality of the raw materials used, the know-how of traditional beer breeders as well as the meticulous care taken at each phase of the manufacturing process.
Gratte-Cul Beer contains a significant proportion of wheat malt , it is unfiltered and has benefited from top fermentation . The fermentation temperature is higher, with the yeast added to the surface, unlike other bottom-fermented beers where the yeast goes to the bottom of the tank.

How to taste Sour and Fruity Gratte-Cul Beer?

Just like pairing food and wine, pairing beer and food is an art. It responds to the universal principles of pairings, namely: resonance which combines similar aromas to intensify them, complementarity to enhance each flavor and contrast to highlight very different tastes.
Thus, the Tangy and Fruity Gratte-Cul will be perfect with a dish of raw vegetables or seafood. The tangy flavor will accentuate the taste of the sauce of the same style. These elements will make a refreshing and original aperitif, to be enjoyed with goat cheese which is also excellent with white beer. In the same spirit, this beer can accompany fish dishes with lemon sauces , such as a salmon steak with dill for example. Be careful though, it should not be drunk with dishes that are too sour like tomato soup, as the combination would be too acidic.
As for dessert, the Tart and Fruity Gratte-Cul goes easily with fruity preparations , particularly red fruits. In pie or salad, they will echo the taste of beer and vice versa. Finally, dare to surprise your guests by offering them white chocolate with Gratte-Cul beer.
