16° chestnut cream, a concentrate of flavor to enhance your drinks and desserts:

Want an original liqueur for your cocktails and desserts? Opt for the 16° chestnut cream . Its creamy texture, its notes of roasted chestnuts and its beautiful amber color make it the ideal ingredient to flavor your kirs as well as to flavor your cakes.

A chestnut cream from the Ardèche region:

This cream is one of the products made from Ardèche chestnuts , exceptional fruits that have made the region famous for centuries. Indeed, this region has long been known for the abundance and quality of its chestnut groves which gave birth to the first French chestnut cream factory more than 100 years ago.
If chestnut cream is a treat that is eaten with a spoon, chestnut cream is a particularly sweet liqueur . It is made by maceration, leaving the fruits to soak in an alcoholic base for a certain period. After infusion, the cream contains 16° alcohol. It should therefore be consumed in moderation, which is good, because this type of liqueur is mainly used to flavor a preparation , whether it is a drink or a dessert.

A liqueur gently macerated by passionate artisans:

Heirs to ancestral know-how, our artisans make 16° chestnut cream following traditional principles . The fruits are peeled then grilled before being macerated in alcohol. The liqueur then gains its beautiful brown color and caramelized aroma throughout this process. The juice thus obtained will serve as a base for the chestnut cream. This is sweeter (250 g of sugar/litre) compared to ordinary liqueurs, hence its name “cream”.

How to enjoy 16° chestnut cream?

This cream subtly enhances certain cocktails , and brings a sweet hazelnut aroma to your favorite desserts.
Would you like to enjoy this cream as an aperitif? It is ideal for flavoring your own beer or for composing a kir. Always with white wine, it is used to make castagnou, an Ardèche aperitif composed of one third liqueur and two thirds wine. To complete your table, don't hesitate to serve local charcuterie, such as IGP Ardèche sausage .
The 16° chestnut cream is also excellent for flavoring desserts and pastries . This fruit alcohol will make your pancakes tastier and provide a delicious aroma to your homemade cakes. It is also a good digestive, both light and sweet, to be enjoyed by the fire after a festive meal.
To preserve all the quality of the liquor, store it in a dark place . If it is not yet opened, place your bottle in the cellar. Once opened, the cream can be easily stored in the refrigerator.
Thanks to particularly careful packaging, your chestnut cream is guaranteed to preserve all its flavor when it arrives at your home. We package our products in ecological fiber packing specially designed for secure transport .
