Save saucissons, feast at your aperitif
What if your next aperitif were delicious, affordable and responsible all at once?
Our anti-waste box contains around 2 kg of genuine artisan dry-cured sausage, at least 30% cheaper — simply because these saucissons no longer fit the standard sales channel. The taste is exactly the same.
Why are these saucissons downgraded?
In our artisan production, roughly 3% of saucissons cannot be sold normally. Not because of their quality, but for reasons that are purely cosmetic or down to size.
Our downgraded saucissons are the unlucky ones, the ones that hit a snag along the way. They may be:
- Off-size — a little too small or too light
- Misshapen — twisted, crooked, slightly bent or cut at the end
- Cosmetically flawed — a slightly scuffed casing, a natural bloom that is missing, damaged or unusually heavy, small natural marks
- Stuck together during drying
👉 None of which has any effect on taste or quality. You are eating exactly the same regional saucisson.

What is in the box?
Each box holds around 2 kg of downgraded saucissons, with a selection that varies according to production. The number, the flavours and the shapes can all change. Two things do not:
- The weight: 2 kg
- The taste: excellent
You might receive, for example:
- a box of a single flavour (100% plain, 100% walnut, and so on)
- a box of 2, 3 or 4 different flavours
👉 The surprise is part of the game, but one thing is certain: every one of them tastes good.
Wherever possible we put together boxes with several flavours, so you can try different products.
Available in limited quantities, depending on production.
The story behind our anti-waste box
Making our artisan saucissons takes real know-how. But in artisan production, not everything comes out perfectly calibrated.
Some saucissons are a little too small, a little crooked, sometimes with an irregular bloom or a casing that shows a mark. Nothing serious — but enough to keep them out of the standard channel.
The result: around 3% of our production was being set aside.
So we asked ourselves a simple question: why throw away a perfectly good saucisson just because it is less handsome?
That is how our anti-waste box of downgraded saucissons was born, in 2022. The idea is simple: give these saucissons a second chance by offering them directly to people who love good food, at a gentler price.
Since then, these “imperfect” saucissons have found their place — on the aperitif board rather than in the bin.
Every box bought means:
- waste avoided
- a regional product given its due
- and an aperitif with a clearer conscience
Because in the end, taste matters far more than shape. Less waste, more saucisson.

Why this box is a genuinely good deal
🌱 1. A real anti-waste move
Every year, 3% of our production is discarded on purely visual criteria. With this offer you help cut that waste, while enjoying products that are 100% edible and full of flavour.
🐖 2. The quality of genuine craftsmanship
All our saucissons are made in France, in the tradition of French charcuterie. Meat selection, maturing, drying — everything is done with care and exacting standards. Downgraded saucissons are not failures on taste: they simply look less conventional. It gives them a rebellious streak we rather like.
💶 3. A small price for a large pleasure
With this 2 kg box you make a real saving while filling your larder with savoury delights. Perfect for aperitifs with friends, convivial meals, picnics, or simply for people who like good things.
🎁 4. The surprise
You do not know in advance which varieties will be in your box. That is part of the charm: every order is a discovery.
They tell their own little story…
🗨️ “I ended up with a crooked casing… bad luck!”
🗨️ “I got caught in the packing machine… ouch!”
🗨️ “I rubbed a little too close to my neighbour in the drying room… and my fine coat suffered for it.”
Our downgraded saucissons may look unusual, but they have nothing to envy the stars of the shelf. Their taste is intact — and arguably better, knowing you saved a saucisson from the bin.
