As we have pointed out to you, our Ardèche dry sausage is a superior quality artisanal product. To best appreciate its flavor, we advise you to follow these few tasting tips:
Take the sausage out at least 15 minutes before eating it.
Do not hesitate to keep the skin when tasting to best gauge the palatability of this sausage.
Cut thin slices for a truly original tasting experience.
Pair it with a Côtes du Rhône wine* and a slice of fresh bread.

Our dry sausage from Ardèche PGI
Our old-style dry sausage IGP Ardèche is a superior quality artisanal product that respects the traditional 1779 recipe for Ardèche sausage.
This sausage is a specialty of the mountainous regions of Ardèche, in the south-east of France, and benefits from exceptional weather conditions for natural ripening and optimal conservation.
Handcrafted
The sausage is dried slowly (between 6 to 8 weeks) in our cellars, which allows its natural gray-green flower to develop. We only use fresh meat of French origin and without coloring, which we stuff into a natural pork casing before tying it with string. All this gives our sausage an authentic artisanal production.

Protected Geographical Indication
Our dry sausage from Ardèche is a typical local product of the region. It is the first region to have a PGI for sausages. This label is a recognition of the quality of our product and our know-how.
Conservation
We pay particular attention to the conservation of our sausage. We recommend that you consume it before the recommended use-by date of 40 days. For optimal conservation, we suggest keeping our sausage at a temperature below 18°C. Please note that this product is subject to drying and may contain traces of nuts.
Ingredients
We use top quality ingredients for our dry sausage from Ardèche. We simply use pork from France, salt, lactose, wine, dextrose, spices and aromatic plants. We add a preservative, potassium nitrate, as well as lactic ferments, to guarantee the quality and food safety of our product. We do not use any coloring.
