Oat straw board 27*22cm:

From July, in the embankments and the surrounding fields, the oats and wild oats show their colours, from light gold to dark ochre. At the end of the season, the remaining stubble, parasitized and wet by the morning dew, gives the straw dark browns on the verge of rotting.

Collected and left to dry, each strand of straw is opened and ironed on the inside, the iron allowing the straw to be dewormed and lengthened.

From a design cut out like a puzzle, all you have to do, using the marquetry principle, is position the straw and recompose the pattern.
