Chestnut Honey Amber Ale – The wild sweetness of Ardèche by La Fa’briquette
A stop in the land of chestnuts!
La Fa’briquette’s Chestnut Honey Amber Ale is an artisanal creation that celebrates the authentic taste of the Ardèche region. Brewed with chestnut honey harvested from the brewery’s own hives, in the heart of the Monts d’Ardèche Regional Natural Park, this beer embodies the meeting of brewing tradition and the richness of the local terroir.
Under its luminous amber color, it reveals a gourmet nose with woody and caramelized notes, typical of chestnut honey. On the palate, the natural sweetness of the honey softens the roasted malt to offer a round, balanced, and slightly honeyed beer, without excessive sweetness. Each sip evokes the Ardèche forest, between aromatic power and captivating sweetness.
A local and artisanal beer, born from La Fa’briquette's expertise
At La Fa’briquette, we brew with passion and authenticity. Located in Lentillères, in the heart of the Ardèche, the artisanal brewery promotes local products and in-house production.
The brewery's hives, located in the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park, produce chestnut honey with a strong character and a beautiful bitterness, used directly in this beer. This honey brings a unique taste signature, both rustic and refined, which sublimates the malty base of an artisanal amber ale.
The Chestnut Honey Amber Ale is therefore much more than a drink: it is an invitation to discover the soul of the Ardèche, between nature, know-how and conviviality.
Tasting and food pairings
To be enjoyed between 8 and 10°C, this amber ale reveals its full aromatic potential when it slowly opens in the glass.
It pairs wonderfully with:
-
stewed dishes (beef, lamb, game),
-
aged cheeses like Bleu d'Auvergne or Picodon,
-
or a dessert based on chestnut, caramel, or dark chocolate.
Ideal for an autumn evening or a warm aperitif, it is a characterful beer that unites terroir, nature, and pleasure.
