On the steep hillsides of Cornas, northwest of Valence, this red wine of character draws its strength from exceptional terroir. Protected from the mistral wind by a natural amphitheater facing south/southeast, the vineyard thrives on granite scree, which gives the Syrah all its power and finesse. The decomposed soils, steep slopes, and full sun shape a refined and structured wine built for aging.

This Cornas from Domaine Les 7 Pierres reveals a dense body with deep aromas of black fruits, enriched by toasty notes from aging in new oak barrels. Over time, its tannins soften, giving way to remarkable aromatic complexity: spices, pepper, licorice, leather, and truffle. Precise and demanding winemaking
Grapes are hand-harvested into small crates. After a long maceration (25 to 30 days), the wine is aged for 12 months in new oak barrels (30%) and used barrels (70%), for a perfect balance between structuring oak and fruit expression.
