- 1 red pepper

- Cooking: 20 min
Preparation of the chorizo pepper pizza
- Preheat your oven to 210°C (so far so good!).
- Roll out your pizza dough (on a sheet of baking paper) on a baking tray or on the rack of your oven if you plan to cook it without a dish (always a good idea to get more crispiness!).
- Spread the tomato coulis on the dough and sprinkle with a pinch of oregano.
- Wash the mushrooms (or peel them depending on your habits) and the red pepper then slice everything. Cut the chorizo into thin slices.
- On the coulis, place the slices of mushroom, chorizo, pepper strips and sprinkle with grated cheese. Salt and pepper to taste and finish with a touch of oregano.
- Bake for 20 minutes, checking regularly towards the end of cooking to obtain the perfect browning...
- When the cheese is nicely browned, get rolling and enjoy!
And why not?
Try this recipe with parmesan or mozzarella or both :)
Replace the mushrooms with an onion to give more character to this pizza or with olives to respect the Italian tradition.
Think about basil which can bring a little freshness to the recipe!
A few rocket leaves added straight out of the oven will add some pep to your presentation (and make some people feel less guilty :)).
