Mini Beaufort Dry Sausage

Discover our 105g Beaufort dry sausage, a perfect blend of Ardèche charcuterie tradition and the character of PDO Savoie cheese. Artisanally made with 100% French pork, this sausage is cased in a natural casing and slowly aged for 4 to 6 weeks in our cellars, thus developing a characteristic grey-green natural bloom.

An authentic and refined taste

The combination of Beaufort, an emblematic Alpine cheese, with dry sausage offers a unique taste experience, blending the fruity sweetness of the cheese with the robustness of artisanal charcuterie. Ideal for a friendly aperitif, a charcuterie board, or a gourmet break.

Treat yourself to a piece of Savoyard tradition with our 105g Beaufort dry sausage, and savour authenticity with every bite.

Saucisson sec au Beaufort

Is this saucisson made with real pieces of Beaufort?

Yes: the Beaufort saucisson is made with real pieces of Beaufort, bringing milky, fruity notes that are a pleasant surprise. You will see the pieces of Beaufort appear as you slice it.

Some slices have no Beaufort in them — is that normal?

Yes, entirely normal. The Beaufort is added in pieces to the mix and then spreads naturally, unevenly, through the saucisson: from one slice to the next you will therefore find sometimes more, sometimes less cheese. That is the signature of artisan making, with no standardised distribution — and the taste of the Beaufort runs right through the saucisson

Is Beaufort a mountain cheese?

Yes, Beaufort is one of the great cheeses of Savoie; it gives the saucisson its characteristic milky, fruity notes.
